Hi, my name is Chantal Soland.
I am a Swiss illustrator for children's books and all things cute.
I live with my family at the beautiful Lake Zurich, where I also grew up. In summer I love to swim in the lake and in winter, how could it be otherwise, we enjoy the snow in the Alps. :)
My illustrations are inspired by nature, my children and everything that surrounds me. My passion is to illustrate children and animals and to tell their stories with my artwork.
I love to capture moments or ideas in my sketchbook and color them with traditional colored pencils. Afterwards I finalize my illustrations digitally in Procreate and Photoshop.
